This thread isn't humour. Humour is funny. This thread is one out-of-shape middle-aged man telling a story-that-isn't-a-story about seeing another (imaginary?) out-of-shape middle-aged man with a more expensive motorcycle.

It speaks volumes about the way the OP sees himself in relation to the rest of humanity.

Stand up and revolt against online 'piss-taking' that is in fact an expression of things that make us smaller and meaner in spirit, people.

Tim generally agrees with Oscar Wilde that the only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about.

Whether the OP was funny or insightful (or indeed, true) is a matter of personal taste.
There is no doubting, however that some of the following posts were funny (for example your assumption that HD-gut-over-belt man even owns a motorcycle made me smile).

And yes, piss taking like this can be mean spirited, but in this instance we have a group of people who appear to crave attention, by the way they dress, the way they behave and the way they (don't) muffle their motorcycles.

Since HD-gut-over-belt man is imaginary, we'll have to refer to the OP for some fleshing-out of the character when his muse returns.

Imaginary or no, it didn't stop you from invoking bike envy (vis. out-of-shape middle-aged man with a more expensive motorcycle. Maybe you should continue the story?

I'm fairly confident taking that particular psychoanalysis punt in this case. Stand by for either silence or denial in response, naturally.
