I'll stick with the current post1 plan....

Meet at 8:30am at The Peg (Belfast Tavern)... departing at 8:45am (hope I'm not late especially since I set the time) aiming to be at the Broadway Tearooms and Bakery in Reefton (first one you come to on the left) at about mid day.
From there people can do what ever... we really have two main choices for returning home and it doesn't matter if some go Arthurs and some go Lewis to get back.
I imagine we'll split in to two(ish) groups of 'I am unhappy at the speed limit' and the 'I won't risk speeding' types.
I'll be obeying the limits for my own reasons and promise I will not be try to convince anyone else.

As for regrouping, if it's needed or desired we could do a couple at the likes of Culverden and Springs Junction. Both places have fuel, as does Reefton.

I think I'm in, if you don't mind riding that far with a noob,

I'll probably carry on through to greymouth after if thats what you meant by going back via arthurs

of course all of this depends on whether or not I can drag my lazy ass out of bed at 7:30 on a saturday

That's one option, it can also be shortened up a bit via Moana etc.

I feel your pain but I am aiming for lunch around mid day and hopefully before everyone else eat all the pies..
