    First time Pete so mid 11's is a good place to start for him ....     Used to do mid 10,s on my stockish GSXR1100 back in late 90,s in UK
    Always prefered the one foot on peg launch myself............. but dont become a leg dragger! get both feet onto pegs asap as it will help you control wheelies and steer it if it alll goes wobbly.

    A great way for road racers to learn how to launch too..... and focus on start lights.
