He parked sideways in the bush off the road, sitting in his car with a Laser gun out the drivers window pointed directly at the cutting as you came over the brow. Fine sunny day, low traffic volume, two lane motorway.
Got two beeps on the radar detector before full laser fix.
Not quite sure why I got a 2 beep Ka warning he must have had the radar in the car on to?
Even though I wasn't goin very quick at all, no faster speed than all the other traffic around me about 110 or so on this occasion.
I'm fairly sure I got down to 100 before the full fix but the other traffic was still chuggin along at 110-112ish
Still gives you the freckin shits wondering if they gonna pick ya out just because your an a big road bike.
Didn't see him on the way home after the last F1 race though?
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

We were at the hairpin, that was a great example of determined racing by Sloan and Stroudy! Had all the spectators on edge! A brilliant race!

Great vid Choppa ! As one who was not there (and didn't even get to watch the live timing ) it was great to watch the BIG race from the best seat in the house !
Excellent display of skill by the pair of you. I particularly liked the last few frames when you returned to the pits and captured the big grin on your dad's face, he looked well pleased !
It's getting crowded at the top of the points table
Hope I can make it to Taupo.
