I've never found cars racing around on a racetrack to be interesting. I love watching WRC and other rallies though.

The most boring is probably Nascar. Racing around on an oval track just seems so boring.

Did a bit of Googling and it seems those F1 cars can do the standing 1/4 mile in around 8 seconds.

...went to just about all the european F1 meetings over a two or three year period in the early eighties...fairly addictive stuff, even though the whole thing is so money ridden and its all so remote, you are just a punter with a passion...if you have a passion for F1 its pretty easy to get into it...dont have SKY, haven't seen one on tv for years...wouldn't mind...

It is a little dull to watch on TV, its only when you look into the performance of the cars that you realised just how good the drivers are and how impressive the engineering that goes into one is. But yeah lets face it racing a lawnmower powered go kart or a mini moto yourself is infinitely more enjoyable that watching Moto GP or F1. Its a bit like the Space Shuttle and International Space Station, I wasn´t really that interested in seeing a Shuttle Launch until I went to Kennedy Space Centre and saw close hand the engineering thats involved in putting people into space, keeping them alive and then returning them.
I love the smell of twin V16's in the morning..

cant you come up with a half decent reply? I mean you did spend at least 5 min crafting that answer surely another five would have been well spent ?

I actually don't mind them. They are extremely fast and the corner speeds are out of this world.
THere isn't much dueling going on to be fair but they are pretty damn fast though, Did i mention how fast they were?

What other reply is needed? I can't make the races any more interesting. If you find it boring then you obviously no nothing about F1 and I can't change that and have no desire to change that. You can't come into F1 and expect to find it interesting without following it for quite some time.

Sounds to me like you are stuck in the 60's. F1 has only slightly changed since then......

I like nascar. near 900 horsepower, virtually no brakes. pulling 320km/h entering the corners - in a car that is heavy and dim witted and doesnt really want to go in a straight line nor does it want to turn. with other cars all doing the same bumping into the back of you or sideswiping you with multiple passes happening every lap.. not that I watch all 300 or 500 laps haha. But as an event its sweet, fireworks, rides in the cars for public, crashes, lots of passing, raw horsepower. no fannying about with computers and laptops n shit

    get into it,

and as for oval tracks, im a big speedway fan too

Nascar is designed to amuse 'merikans. It has to be that simple for them to understand it...
