We'll get there in 90 minutes from the Shore. So leaving at about 6am would be about right, and get there about 7:30AM.

WTF? what will you be riding? Its only a hour from the mobile, Oteha Valley road. about 90km.

So if you travelled at 90Km/h, that would make it take 1 hour? Ok, so maybe it'll take us 50 to 55 minutes, unless anyone stops for petrol (and I'll be wanting to fill up before going onto the track).

Speaking of that, where is the closest service station to Hampton Downs from the Auckland side? I may need to re-fuel during the day this time.

Mercer gas station is the closest, about 10 km from track.
Or find someone that is going down with a car and stick a petrol can in.

Mercer (as above) is the closest, but if the bike is all taped up, then not really legal to ride there, unless you make it legal. There was gas there previously, but not sure if it was HDRD or the track. May pay to check? Even ask AMCC
