    Thumbs up Magic Day!!!

What a F---ing magic day guy's. Awesome way to spend a work day! Great to meet some of the names on KBs and to experience the sheer exhilaration of blating around the track with some very fast riders. Got to open up the k5 a bit as well, now i have to get a new back tyre,F---ing magic. Thanks again guy's for a great day. See you all on the next one. Cheers Rob.

Fucking awesome day, first time i have ridden at Pukekohe since the nationals last november... Had the new shock in the back, it was hard as fuck... played around with the suspension and after 4-5 decent tank slappers (none of this wiggle shit) i felt alot more comfortable by the end of the day.... still needs some tweaking so might be out there next saturday... dveus did some rough timing for me and got 1:08's-1:10's consistently which felt about right (i estimate 1:09's and 1:10's). Still more time can be saved coming up the hill, and the left before the hill, as well as jennian and the exit out of castrol (was pretty slippery today)

Everyone was riding really well, great laugh to see WT on the TL... Bruce, Hayden and Grunta were putting on a awesome pace (ill bring the 600 next time aye???) As well as awesome wheelies from WT, Bruce and hayden...

Highlight today other than riding around the track, was seeing Dean Perkins in his Ford Falcon V8 Supercar go out with the drifters to show them how it is really done (some of the best drifting i have seen, and the mint sound too...)

And cheers Matt for this magic Pic...http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/at...chmentid=13989

He sure made the dirfters look rather average.

k, two things to take into a consideration here:
    a) I caught the slipstream of a ZX10 between castrol and the kink
    b) you're on a slower bike (proven)

I was getting between 260 to 270 without help, but that one time with drafting got me 285 maxed..

so fukin wish I was there.. and had the tank cam on. Wouldn't be able to max it out with the cam on, but still would have fun tryin..

glad you lot had fun out there, glad to see ya all back too

    Mintaahhhh

What a choice day, first time at puke with the Gixxer, lovin it alright, sure hauls arse down the straight parts and just as quick as the TL in the corner parts. Brakes weren't upto there usual stopping power, and my hand was giving me more greif than usual (mabe i should've left it in cast instead of pulling the TL to bits with it )
Was good to catch up with hayden and grunta and deano who prolly wont sleep tonight through fear of what WT and co might do to his new pride n joy, suzuki ruled the day yet again, mostly gixxer thous and the lovely TL1000S .
Good to see more than a few guys n gals hitting the track for the first time ever and loving it, hope to see you all out there again, Mattt bigger bike next time huh, tick it up brother.
Fuck gotta feel for that poor old pommy git stuck in welly, Jimbo my heart goes out to ya brother, we all had fun just for you mate

WT if that TL had'nt broke we could of swapped and you could have taken the gixxer for a spin......after the first session i could see me standing on the side of the track cryin'.....next time

Wow, what a day! Don't know where to start...

Thanks heaps to Gazza for fixing the throttle on my VTR. While he was working on that, Frosty offers me a blat on 911 around the track. Well, what do ya say to that! OK!

Never been on a track before, never ridden anything bigger than a 250, had my learners three months...

What a buzz! I get the feeling that yesterday may have been my first day on the track, but it sure won't be the last...

Thanks to the guys who were cool about me being out there...

Sorry to JSG for lapping you...

Will post some piccies and videos once I've sorted through them all.
    Exploring pastures anew...
