depends what your looking at doing aye. Most cost will probably come from labour (around $60 an hour). If you need parts you'll want to find a good condition low KM engine to source from otherwise its gonna be a few weeks waiting for parts ex japan that will probably be overpriced for their value.
How many km's has your engine done?

sorry didnt notice you said your own, do you mean doing it yourself? Wouldnt bother personally... but if your keen its your engine. Either try and find a low KM engine to take bits from or talk to the local kwaka shop to price the bits you want.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.
