    Meet George Jetson

They have been around a while, but we have our first domestic robot.
Automated vacuum cleaner, scoots around the house till the battery runs down, then finds its way back to the recharging station and gets ready to go again.
Doesn't do a bad job of the floors either. Takes longer than doing it manually, but screw that now!

My mate has one to clean his wooden laminate floors. It does a good job but is a lot noiser than they show on the infomercial. I guess that doesn't matter if you set it to run when you are out.

Conversation heard in the KR office the other day...

"Hey, has anyone seen the green compressor? You know the one that had the KR sticker on it"

"Nope, haven't seen that since BD left"

It doesn't - it stops. You just have to be smarter than the robot :-)
