Car vs bike, Great North Rd, 24 March. Help

    Hey kiwibiker krew.
I am hoping someone on here saw the incident on the waterview end of the great north rd a couple of weekends ago (24 march) a dr motard going into the rear of a Audi q7. I assumed I would be liable for his rear but Ive been told that if I can prove that he slipped into my lane reducing my following distance (which he did) I may not be a fault. Just need a witness. I did see a guy on a drz-s who might have seen the incident who might be able to help.
Laughable part is Audi guy is now saying I pushed his vehicle into the one in front. And managed to only bend my front mudguard. I think he lives in a magical universe where Dr's can push 3000kg 4x4's around.
If no one comes forward then Im up for a bill.
What do spoiler, windows and indicators cost on a 2011 Audi ? eek
But im buggered if im paying for the damage at the front. 20 yrs riding and some sleepy bastard nails me.
anyhoo if anyone can help plz pm me.
and the rest of you look out for the cages and keep the sticky side down.

nah no police and in fact I'm building a senior constables place at the moment. He said that if their are no injuries involved they are happy to not be involved. Wish I had rung them now. But no warrant (was on my way to the warrant place in papakura) but investigator just told me thats not always a issue. As long as it was warrantable at the time. In fact its warrantable now. just need a need mudguard. wanted a motard one anyhoo.
sigh really didnt need this but at the time I was just glad I wasnt broken. Took most of the force to my head/neck hitting glass and top ridge of window.
Really surprised he thinks I could push him forward. The investigator thought it must have been a harley or some other heavy bike to have done so.

I swear there are like 15 bikers in the streets around here, wouldn't surprise me if most of them were KB'rs. The bike looks familiar can't say for sure, I am pretty sure I have heard a motard somewhere near here a few times.

Hey, a new 'close to home' riding buddy haha.

    Cheers mate!

Yea I still have a month to go until my license will return into my sweaty little hands so won't be riding for a while Then I will be keen! Still don't know what I want to get though, either Dr650, SV650 or Thou, Fireblade or a Gixxer 750. Too many damn choices.
