Trouble is regarding RC30 vs OWO1 as I am lead to believe, the RC30 was really a roadbike in racebike clothing and needed the HRC race kit to go racing really.
Apparently, and I am only going on what I am told, the OWO1 was ready to go out of the box, more or less.

Sort of. The OW still only had 100-110 rw hp. The kit was a lot less extensive as much of it was already there, but the price in the UK was 4000 pounds more for the bike. Chassis was well speccy, but like anything they all need good set up.
A Mate's OW in Belgium made 120 rwhp and came with the race kit in the box, though some race kit parts were missing. I suggested that if he was getting 120 at the rear wheel, I think I know where some of his missing race kit parts are....they were reputed to have 120 at the crank.
With race kit, 130 was common I understand.
Have now done 3000km's on my OW and it's great fun, chassis is fantastic if slightly slow steering these days. Motor is like a good modern stock 600 with a few less revs and a (slight) bit more midrange.
Having riden both, I don't think the OW is as civilised as an RC30. I like that. They made less OW's than RC30's by the way.
Some one BUY IT. Don't put a EXUP motor in it, Kills the chassis set up. 840cc's is a good I hear though....
