Why? they've been happening for centuries

Reports i have read have suggested that in the last few years there have been increasing large magnitude earthquakes.
Im just saying its something worth thinking about, or maybe just living in Chch has made me slightly sensitive on the subject.
Either way i hope there arent too many deaths from this quake and that there is no tsunami

The USGS graphs show the same thing, but as others have said they have been happening since before man was on the planet and they will continue to do so.

It isn't far away from the 2004 quake that killed 150,000+ people
    I didn't think!!! I experimented!!!

Now called "climite change" because the earth crust temperature is cooling.

Just part of the Pacific ring of fire. In 1883 there were a few... then Karakatoa shat itself... 3 years later Tarawera did the same. I reckon it's just the normal situation.

It's all down to those dirty europeans drilling into the earths crust to heat pump the earth's core temperature to heat their homes. They are cooling the core causing the quakes as it condenses and at the same time releasing the heat into the atmosphere and thereby causing the climate change. It all fits

The ice age was your 1670cc of pure twin's fault Mossy.
You are responsible for these earthquakes, and the rise in petrol prices, babies being born ugly and many other things.

    Or something.

Fracking? Is that squirting liquid into a giant hole at high pressure? In which case, I'm about to vomit
