    Rare Kawasaki Estrella

It's with great sadness that I have to let go of this beautiful bike. But I want to travel, and can't afford storage so...

This is the most beautiful 250 you'll ever see, classic cafe racer style, but with a young reliable Kawasaki 4 stroke single cylinder engine.

I bought it July 2011 off Pete who had bought it at an auction in Japan. Estrellas are pretty special here as they were never marketed outside Japan. There are only a handful of them in NZ. This one is especially cool with the custom candy paint and marble pattern on the tank.

Red Baron have serviced it twice in the 8 months I've had it, and replaced a number of engine parts.

    WoF expiry: Sept 2012
    Reg expiry: Aug 2012

In the time I've had it, it suffered one standing fall. I walked out of work and there it was lying on the ground, putting a dent and scratch in tank and taking a bit of paint off the front guard. I have touched these up carefully with some primer and lacquer.

There is also a scratch on the exhaust from a standing fall with the last owner. The scratches are only ones you will notice.

It's a very comfortable, reliable, and turns a lot of heads.

    Must've been snapped up !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

I have sighted this particular bike. It's a real head-turner and conversation starter. Nice.
