Check the options to see if it can use your gpu for rendering , should cut the time down to a 1/4 of cpu based processing.

I have enabled OpenCL since my GPU supports that, but GPU usage is only around 25% and CPU usage is around 35%.

given those figures I don't think overclocking is gonna hep you, your bottleneck is elsewhere

Virtual Dub. Its free and you can remove the camera shake with a plugin.

Anything else is overkill if thats all you want to do.

Can I add music to a video clip on this prog? All I want to do is cut bits out of my clips, and add some music, save as a movie back to my folder. My original WVM that came with my Vista op played up. I have downloaded W movie maker 2.6, but its not as good as the version that packed up. With 2.6, when I import a video , it comes in seperate clips. I then have to drag each clip down to the timeline.

Any advice on what I'm doing wrong?

You just made my day! I tried it but my head exploded after an hour. So I tried another "free" suite, my head exploded. I'm nearly healed now, it's growing back so I'm almost ready to try the Arcsoft editor on my new poota. Gonna find a child to show me how first.

Seems like your first statement was a bit off. Turn off the shadow file generator, that should help.
