I recon the port race would be a dead heat. Unless I threw myself forward off the chair as we crossed the line. Stranger things have happened.
I propose we play turn about driving and swinging unless one combination or the other proves to give us a clear advantage.
at lest you guys know l will smoke you all on a sideccar
Growin' up as a kid, always thinkin', you know If I could ever just race motorcycles and make a living that would be the coolest thing know to mankind.
jeez, all this talk of a re-introduction of chairs is making me a little moist. About 15 years ago I was giving that a go and loved every minute on the track and in the pits, up until the point my swinger who was SUPPOSED to be paying for half buggered off to the states leaving me with all the bills and a half built new chair for the next season.
Was racing #47, CB125T powered grey monstrosity with 10" slicks f+r, kart chair wheel.
Is there enough interest to bring this back from the dead? Particularly central north island/auckland area (am in Hamilton)?
I'll finish the chair if I have too, either to race or just to sell. Recommend me an engine?
Things are moving in Auckland, Rick and I have bought a Longchin powered rig, Mike Greens old chair has made its way back to Auckland and Brenton has one and one under construction so things are moving along.
Check in here or with me before the May AMCC round and I'll tell you if we are going to bring the tricycle and what day if only one of the two given that we are both racing at least one two wheeled class apiece.
just pulled the side car out the barn after 10 years . lt dont look to good )-:
