2012 Sundown Retreat, Balmoral Reserve, Hurunui, 13 April

The 12th Sundown Retreat is to be held again at the Balmoral Reserve in Hurunui on the 13/4/2012. This fantastic site has this unique micro climate that will be used for the second time. The camping is superb with camping grounds that have flush toilets and alcoves where private group camping is at it's great. There will be a central fire close to the new stage where the Rubber Band will be playing with a keyboardist to add some great touches to an awesome mix of music. There will be a band on Friday night as well playing awesome classic rock music and they will play again on saturday behind the main band on saturday night.

Games and challenges will again be part of the rally, we will have a sound off and see who has the loudest bike, might even see who has the loudest yell. Girls see who can toss the handbag the furthrest or the rugby ball and lets not forget the toss of the toilet seat and stretching of the most on the horizontal bungy. The keg toss will see who has the best style, man or woman.

The bike show had a fairly good showing last year and was very popular so bring your polishing rage and get it into the bike show. There will be the usuall raffles going, spend $2 and hope you can win $50 back, we have some other neat stuff as prizes as well, for the competitions, the bike show and the raffles.

T-shirts will again be available at the rally site, 2 choices of t-shirts both will be on black, $25 per shirt. No cloth badges this year but you will get a metal badge on entry. We have some of the older rally shirts still available so we will be offering some of those at reasonable prices.

The bar will be back in a new form with a couple of marques to keep you dry and keep out the younger patrons, bar area will be 18 plus. Food on site will be an All Day Brekky, Burgers. The HotDod Caravan will be there with all sorts of goodies, hotdogs, chips, whitebait and the list goes on, they satisfy everyone (well nearly, celiacs excluded) but wait there will be some gluten free pies and gluten free sausages available. Their will also be some yummy stew and bacon/salad sammies.

Could be, I find the same to, in some ways and in most forums.
I seem for one pretty close to 100% going, maybe in the late 80's early 90's.
Though it always seems to appear that I have shit following close behind to grab me round the ankles and pull me down so I can get a face full.
Here's to hoping work does not become diarrhetic, there fore creating distraction.
    Quietly confident though.
