your in a room with four walls of green red brown and blue spaced around in that order, room is square. You are looking at the wall directly in front of you and it is red. What is the colour of the wall behind you?

well since you cant observe the wall it must have no colour. Dumb metaphsics is rubbish

Yeah well I'm not much into it myself either but I am fascinated by some of the scientific stuff surrounding quantum physics (unfortunately handicapped in my ability to understand it AT ALL due mainly I suppose to ...stupidity).

Mainstream cosmological science now encompasses stuff that really bends the mind. It is kind of metaphysical stuff, but it's real science. Try googling subjects like the Big Bang or Quantum Jump.Dark matter. Anti-matter. Space-time continuum.

Our old ways of understanding things just don't cut the mustard.

or read in a nutshell by the wheel chair genius

on another matter I like the explanation of multiple universes/realities through the diffraction patterns of electrons through a thin slot, wether they are fired constanly or singularly they act the same, suggesting that when they are there on there own something is effecting them which could be in another reality.

Well...this could take a while...... Na, just joking. I'm the wrong guy to attempt it.

But that is the wave-particle duality thing. It is apparently not understood, but can be demonstrated experimentally in the photo-electric effect experiment you are (probably) talking about. One source I referred to said about it "one of the most fundamental principles of science seems to be mocked by these results: the notion that we are dealing with, and can know the details of, the objective world". I thought that was kinda cool. Comes back to the tree in the forest, eh?

But I'm no scientist, and am just repeating parrot-fashion what I've read and only partially understood.

well, the cat theory falls apart when the dead zombie cat eats the brains of the live cat and that one becomes a zombie cat also and then they start a plague of scientist hating quantum zombie cats.

that may be the physics of it, but It still has to be heard (by someone or something at whatever level) to have made a noise - IMHO
