It makes a sound, ie the particles oscillating away from the source, but I'm not sure about "noise". If sound is the same thing as noise then yes it does make noise, if noise has to be heard to actually exist then no it doesn't make any "noise" but it does make a sound.

As for the quantum physics, just don't even go there. Bosons, Fermions, Positrons, Leptons, Muons and everything else you can thing of that ends in "ons". I passed the paper and thats all i care

heres one. Place a tape recorder in the forest ....it picks up the sound/noise it made while falling down when no one was there.

The vibration may have caused another plant to topple - if sound waves
are what caused the toppling....then the tree falling made a sound
