That sure is one nasty bug. I also have problems with the game crashing, but think it may be a hardware problem as apposed to anything the game is doing.
I think the phrase rhymes with "Clucking Bell" - Blackadder

Sorry man, its a bit late now, the tournament started this week. What's the site to get the medals etc on?

How did you get your purple heart? I was looking at c3.elmo's stats (he's like 15th in the world, highest ranked kiwi) and he hasn't even got it. I need to start playing more, not going that great at the moment.

    P.S. My name is k14nz

Just been killed by c3.elmo several timesa tonight. Makes me feel a little better.
Purple heart is a n00b medal.
You need something like a ratio of 1 kill to 5 deaths.

    lol, really??
That doesn't make much sense, that means the best players will never get it. See that c3.elmo has over 300 of each of the gold, silver and bronze star but no other medals, wonder how you get those. He must have no life.

You get it for having a 1 to 5 kill to death ratio in a round with a minimum of 20 deaths and I think you have to be killed before you get the kills.

www.bf2s.com is a good stats site. www.bf2tracker.com is good too.

I set out to get it...I haven't been to concerned with points but have been trying to collect a few medals.
Most of them are easy to get, they just need a little focus.
The C4 badge is the one I'm struggling with at the moment...so if someone wants to stand still while I blow them up 15 time

    The game rocks.

    Still, it's no Ghost Recon.

Mine crashes all the time, sometimes i'll get 5 mins gameplay, sometimes a couple of hours. Bit of a laugh when the game crashes whilst i'm flying the blackhawk full of passengers, only wish i could get to see what happens to em all
Says i've got a modified version of bf2 sometimes too, and won't let me onto the server even though i haven't

I am enjoying it when I can, but having a celeron 700 and dial up means it probably wouldnt work at home, so my time is spent at net cafes. I have been playing on any old servers, but I must get onto ranked ones to get some medals/badges sometime.

Hmm no I don't think that computer will handle it, my XP1700+ with radeon 9700 and 1gig of ram struggles to get 30+ fps in low quality so yours wouldnt quite cut the mustard. You need a min of a radeon 8500 or geforce fx to run it anyway.

Been playing abit more now, need to get some more medals and badges though.
