Anyone hazard a guess how it would run on my rig?

    AMD 3000+
    Radeon 9600 Pro 256mb
    512mb RAM
    SATA Drive

Would it do well? I think it ran HL2 pretty damn well.

Anyone want to "lend" me a copy 'till I've got the dosh?

Might need some more ram. Minimum for game is 512mb, mine uses around 700-800mb during gameplay. Otherwise sweet as, though a better graphics card always makes things prettier

Should go well, it plays better than the original on any given specs imho....
Otherwise, if you got a bit of cash, more ram and a >gfx card always goes down sweet.
See for yourself on the demo.

Anyone want to download the demo, burn it, and mail it to me for a couple of bucks?

Well - I have 4 weeks 'sponsored' play time on BF2 ahead of me (among other things). Gotta love gardening leave - or in this day and age, should we changing that to gaming leave?

    I had a 3200+ with 1GB of RAM and a 9600 Pro 256 => Not quite good enough.
Changing the card to a GF6600GT made a lot of difference.
Apparently 1GB of RAM is the way to go as well.

They quote the minimum specs as CPU: 1.7 Ghz RAM: 512 Mb Video Card: NVidia GeForce FX 5700, ATI Radeon 8500 or ATI Radeon 9500 with 128 Mb of RAM

They recommend CPU: 2.4 Ghz RAM: 1 Gb Video Card with at least 256 Mb of RAM

    I'm running with P4 3.4FX with 4gb DDR2 Ram and two SLI x800's - runs mint as....

Not as much as postage to Wellington, I'd guess. Luckily that's where I'm residing for the moment.

    Want me to PM details?
