I got one a couple of days ago from a lawyer in the uk, this guy had done his homework, the lawyer office actually checked out. But the contact no's and e-mail were different, but similar. Very tricky, and would be easy to get suckered even after a quick check of the business. I forwarded the e-mail to them.....I'm sure they can sort 'em out.

The Kiwibank one's always impressed me (I'm not with them) at least all the links on the page work and go where they are supposed to.
Unlike the paypal one that was going around a year or so back....

Oh but it does. Like everything Microsoft touches though, it'll bring your mac to a grinding halt and fuck it.

We have our home phone and business phone on the same line. And the amount of scammers we get calling us from this "Windows Tech Support" shit is ridiculous. WE had 5 in one night. We now have no sympathy in telling them to fuck right off. WE have had teh few email tricksters, but deleting the email is one of the easiest things that you can do.

At least we know that if a bank or something wanted to email you, the Email address would be something like

    R. Jenkins(at)tsb.co.nz... Changing with the other banks of course.

I really wish that they would fuck off completely though.... Damn call centre arseholes.

I know ASB makes a lot of effort (the others might to) to say that they will not email you about resetting your account giving you links to click on etc. They also mention that if in doubt, visit the bank website separate to the email to do anything.

This obviously excludes normal bank communication with a rep about banking or business etc.

lol I just complained to telecom. Calls were coming through from overseas but lucky they were using a New Zealand gateway. They apparently blocked the calls from coming through. Haven't had any since. We shall see though

You guys are pretty hard on people that are just trying to earn a living. At last they're out there using their brains & are ambitious. Sometimes when they call I don't have that much money but try to spread it around when i can.

It makes me feel quite good about myself when I go to bed.

Having a wank once you're in bed will probably give you the same feeling
