When my hair was longer I use to (and still do) wear a buff, put in a low ponytail, and then covered with the buff, and tucked down my jacket. Worked well

Mine was halfway down my back, and i got sick of the knots and cut most of it off. Now its a bit longer again, i just plait it. I'm going to continue to do so once it starts growing again.

I use a moisturising cream which is supposed to be just for the ends, but work it down the length of my hair before the obligatory pony tail. Even then, my hair still looks like crap when I remove my helmet. I've given up on ever trying to look cool as I take my helmet off! Maybe I should wear my balaclava more...
Worse than tangles though are the loose ends which fly up under your chin guard and end up stuck in your mouth as you're riding. I hate trying to spit out odd stray ends which lodge in or near my mouth cos I can't reach then with my gloved sausage fingers.

I should have not have discounted this one so readily-in relation to the bandanas-rather than shaving ones head! I shall pass it on.

No, no, no Ms Princess, we look very, very cool when we dismount our trusty Banditos

Oh, I have a worserer one than in your mouth, it is the hair that sticks into your neck, just the ends. You go to attempt to move it and all is good until it settles back in another spot. Sort of prickles your skin, horrible feeling, usually when some of my hair comes loose from my pont tail.
