I feel your pain AE(not literally) but if there wasn't a witness to say the driver didn't indicate then I believe you'll be wasting your time.

But hey if you're successful let us know.

Dude i would suck it up, but you seem to think you are in the right so run with it !!!

    Write your letter !

    Dear sir/madam,
I am writing you re offence .................

I feel this is a grave misjustice as there is no way i was in the wrong, the car in question had been traveling along ..... road at .....k below the speed limit for a good 5 minutes before i decided i would be safer in front of this driver and overtook this person, when i found an open piece of road where i had 100 mtrs of visibility thoughout.........

No wait !!! Aint that what the ticket is for ? So the cop stood there and visibly measured the left over distance you had after hitting said car ?

    Bwahahahaha you're fucked !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

Pretty sure ... ??? The cop no doubt took a statement from you bot. Made a decision ... and charged you. Write the letter and fight it in court if you are so sure.

Did he write a ticket for the other driver ... ???

The car drivers indication or lack thereof has no bearing whatsoever on the infringement notice issued IMHO. Pay up & learn from it I say.
