Have you not read Stoner saying that he (like Rossi is saying now) never got from the factory what he was always asking for?
Too true, but not too may of the development riders are as fast as the GP boys. Various sources also reckon Stoner did well despite the Ducati factory pretty well ignoring his feedback ,and requests for chassis/engine changes. He must be enjoying himself at the Repsol Honda team!

The Duc has certainly destroyed a few careers, and I believe Ducati offered M Melandri a few sessions with a psychiatrist rather than change their machine. You have to admire Stoner's nerve when he was on the Ducati, but boy he looked like an accident waiting to happen at every corner.

It'll be interesting to see if Ducati are prepared to make further changes this year. Perhaps a 65 degree v twin with a smaller bore?

Think you'll find Ducati and the Italians were that arrogant about their bike not being the 'problem' when Stoner was crashing they chose to ignore his requests. After all...he was winning races right? Can't be the bikes fault. He may've been a victim of his own ability.

There is talk of them closing up the vee angle. And it makes pefect sense. A 90 deg v is a fucking long engine and hard to place correctly in the frame.

The whole sad saga has gotta be THE worst PR nightmare ever for them.

The saying about "poor tradesmen blaming their tools" comes to mind for some reason.

latest news from Ducati is they will be concentrating on making the power more usable as they think this is linked to the chronic understeer that Rossi and Hayden are experiencing. Seems the power is a little too brutal when first applied mid corner!

lol. Could have a point there. Rossi is like the Pope! But I certainly can't recall Stoner ever saying he couldn't ride the Ducati.

Yeah, haters be haters, lovers be lovers.
In related news, can you comment on the rumour that you have a life sized, anatomically correct blow-up Casey Stoner doll? And that you’re considering a civil union with it?

Think it's far more likely you've got yourself a Rossi one mate. And I bet if it's anatomically correct, it's got a well used rear hole.

Ps:. When is Rossi's GF giving birth to his child? Fucking thing must be around 6 months overdue now.

Nah, I don't fixate on road racers, all that leather doesn't do it for me.
