Hey swanman, I could use a bit of company on the ride down (not too fussed on the route taken either!). When are you thinking of heading off? I looking at heading off around 10 or 11am on Saturday and finding a place to stay in Palmy Nth (hopefully get in touch with some KBers to have a few drinks with).

    My mobile's 021 522 956 BTW.

Yes I would have said earlier but I am getting a new front tyre fitted, and need to buy some knee sliders. Prolly at cycletreads. If I am going to be late I'll call u. Any ideas about the route down? Which is the quickest/best way?

I like my way. Back road to Otorohanga, TeKuiti - Taumarunui - National park - Waiouru
Miss out the most of SH1. Lots of corners TeKuiti - Taumarunui, but good driving all the same.
Course if you want to go past the ColdKiwi guys go TeAwamutu, Kihikihi, Whakamaru... All the way down Western Access to Wairou then Desert Road. KihiKihi-Wairou can be quickish.
Leaving Hams at 10 and going via Taumarunui. Cell 021 190 2525

I have few guys coming over to watch the footie on poor mans TV (TV3) saturday night so you are all welcome to come on over and party here. I finish work at about 5pm and I'll be home ready to start having a couple of drinks at about 5.09pm !! I have my golf champs first thing in the morning (8.30) but as I don't get hang-overs I will be fine ... but you young'uns might be hard pressed to circulate around that track if your head is spinning !!

Hey - can one of you Welly guys going up do me a favour?

Frosty's bring down some baby shoes for my wife he grabbed us in Auckland.

Can one of you bring them back to Welly so I can pick them up...

    I'd go up but

    a) petrol money is non-existent this week; and
    b) I've got all the kids here on the fourth.

If you can, could you PM me?

    Ta

    Simon
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Hey Frosty ... I have KK & 6Chris6's back protectors here from the last time they were down. I'll be over once I have won the champs and see you guys and drop them off to you. I'll PM them to say you have them and they can pick them up from you ... if that's OK ...

So what time are you supposed to be getting into Palmy today ....??
