Ladies and gentlemen--Which female KBer just got a SOLO track session on the KR race bike? Yep this lady was riding so well she got a track session all by herself.
I for one are quaking in fear -this lady is gonna be a force to be reckoned with on the track

I guess we'll have to buy the next Kiwi Rider Mag to find out. Big photoshoot after the ride. Honda 250 to R6 is a huge transition.

It was a good day - wish I'd worn my leathers to ride up for a gander, it was so damned hot when we got there!

Sels1 introduced himself after spotting the Goose and Andy's Beemer parked by the food caravan. He pointed out Slipstream, so I introduced myself to her and in turn met John Boy, Sparky Bills, NC30 and CrazyLittleShit. Saw Frosty and was going to say hi but he disappeared - man, must have sussed me! Good to catch up with Todd (KR) and Mike Esdaile (formerly KR - the one who got me riding in the first place!) too.

Some beautiful bikes there, hope everyone had a great day. We had a great ride up and on the way back we were shadowed by either an R1 or an R6 (one headlight going, the multi-coloured type) from just south of Sanson - we turned off at Koputaroa Road and he waved (thank you!) and headed south. Had a couple of visitors later who were heading back to Wellington, so a pretty good day from our perspective.
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

What an awesome day! I'm sure my gear changes were getting dodgier and dodgier as the day went on though - can't be too good for the poor little Jade. Man, I though Manfeild would be a bit more 'trustworthy' but it's almost as bad as the Rimutakas surface-wise! Learnt lots of interesting stuff today. And yay Jane and Mark for bringing up another 250 to join the field! I thought there would be a few more of us though.

And thanks heaps KR!!! What an awesome toy! Man you fellas were trusting - hope you didn't eat your words when I locked up the back in the corner! Heh heh. Mmmmmm - very, very nice though.

Last year, on the Akitio (?) beach run, I was stuck behind this fat wallowing triumph speed four on my little 250. I was resigned to the fact that I would never get past, for on the straights the 'umph would roar away and I couldn't beat it out of the corners.

Anyway, this other 250 with a fish on the back passed us both. That was a suprise. So then I thought "must try harder".

I recognised that 250 with the fish on it at the track day again. Yep, she's real fast. Passing everyone on the outside.

From watching that track day I am now totally resigned to making it to the next one, and making my vtr into the maddest one ever.

What about the guy on that MV? I couldn't tell if he was a hero or crazy..! Both I think.

Was certainly a great day. I obviously need to develop a greater trust in my tyres & go faster in the corners if I don't want to be passed by all you quick buggers. Nice to meet a few more KBers, not too many wearing the shirts tho. Whoops that was me too. Many were fooled by Motoracer sending a stunt double. Good one, Slob!
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
