I've got video from the top of my tank, but it's not particularly startling... no sideways action, no one doing anything stupid or cool in front of me, not even any pictures of the sky... and I've no idea how to get it onto the computer...

But my g/f was impressed to see how quickly the speedo goes around (geez, I tell her sooo often but she just didn't believe me)...

It's good to read all the reports

I get more and more impressed with all the stuff I hear about your riding Velox. Yet, still I haven't seen you ride!! We'll have to change that at some stage in the future, hopefully soon.

To all of you's who got confused with the whole Motoracer leathers - Ha ha, shame on you! LOL

I got his card but his site's "under construction" and has absolutely ziltch on it. I tried emailing him but haven't heard back yet.

The site is www.ultrapix.co.nz though. Has his contact details. Maybe we could get him to post the thumbnails on here somewhere?

Hmmmm....you'll only get away with it this time. We are wise to your little game and know you are the one who missed out in the looks & skill department
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

I guess us non celebrity types will have to pay him if we want a pic when he does put them up. Others will just have to pick up a copy of probably next months KiwiRider.

actually I for one was really impressrd by how much motoracers riding has improved. So much smoother and faster than last time I saw him riding.
I dunno about 125's matte I think you should be racing the 1000s
--Ohh It wasn't MR--so who was oit then??
Ohh His FASTER and SMOOTHER big brother slob

Well I must say I ended up having a fantastic day.
I'd set myself some goals for the day.
the first was to get comfortable on my bike
the second was to get below 1.20 on manfeild on my SV.
and the last was to get the bike semi set up for the race season.
Well I went out on the warm up session and all that went out the window.
I was riding like a bloody newbee getting totally anayalated by the guys on their thous and sporty 600's.The ultimate put down was a guy on a Motard over and over again outbraking me into the ciorners.
It was a pretty depressed Frosty that came in from that session.
Ok I could blame the bike, I could say ohh Im only riding 63hp and they all have over 100
Bullshit frosty --you were riding like a pussy!!!!
I did change a few settings which had me more comfortable
Second session and things were a bit better but still lots to learn.
In a frantic bit of pits mechanicing AJ turbo and I removed the rearset pegs and fitted the stock pegs and hangers.
well sod me what a difference.I could move on the bike. my knees werent cramped.
I went out for the next session and I just couldnt believe the difference 15mm could make.
Instantly Im going faster.I found myself chasing down a guy on a zx10r.
What a buzz -I caught and passed him then he had a go right back at me.
For the last 4 laps we were having a great time passing one another.
At that point AJ told me he had me clocked at 1.24 which was a heck of an improvement over my abismal 1.32 at the start of the day.
I conned another KB F3 rider into coming out with me in the expert group.
I followed him out for a couple of laps then eased on the gas bit by bit.
He stuck with me but slowly dropped back. --well I do have about 8 hp advantage over his viffer 400
It was bloody good riding with ya dude -thanks for the heads up about the sweeper.
Last session of the day and it was time to put the ass up and head down.
with my "unofficial" timekeeper watching me I set out to go as fast as I could. I passed 2 guys on coke then caught a bit of a draft off a guy on a sv1000.
well bugger me what a rush. Came in wanting more --It cant be 4pm already
and my best lap was a 1.20.22 -so Im well happy with that.
I learned so much in just one short day and I know that the bike can go faster -if only the loose nut on top is up to it.

It was fantastic meeting all you KBers and seeing ya all having so much fun.

Thanks for that, I was rapt that I had taken about half a second off my previous best. I was disappointed at going slower the week before, but I guess I needed a bit more time to get to know her, and still do. The CBR is definitely easier to push hard than the SP1 was.

I'm pretty sure Hayden was the quickest on the day, (Ray Klee not included ). Apparently Ray followed him for a few laps and had some pretty good things to say about his riding. I guess he would have been doing about 1.15's.

Speedking was doing some unreal 'backing it into Higgin's corner' with smoke pouring off rear tyre.

Weather was spot on. Cheers to the organisers for a great day, and Frosty for the great deal.
