Those thingys under people's nicknames

So - what exactly are they? For instance: I've got "weekend cruiser" and four greyed out stars.

?

PlacidFemme (no stalking - just that I noticed is all) has one blinking x, sillybugger has three of those, while Mikey has five gold stars.

Are they random? Who delivers them? And what are the criteria for the different categories?

(This from the person who reads the mouseovers on the bling...)

The name thing is set automatically until you've stopped bein a noob, then you can choose your own. The crosses relate to how much crap you've posted on here.

Look it up in the FAQ. Its basically a notice of how much you have posted ect and you can change it when you hit a senor member.

The stars just mean how many posts you have, just check the FAQ's for exacts.

That's right, although not as much for the time I've been on here as bugjuice or waylander.
I'd much rather be working though; I'm close to throwing myself under a bus from the stress of nothing to do.

Our comps (or internet connection) at work sucks... I didn't even know the big "X"s flashed... or that any of the emotions moved...
