Good call, float valve seems to be okay to my eye as it doesn't overflow when the tap is left on (no vacuum stop)
Can't do the clear hose trick on this one, the drain hole is the bore for the drain screw

The inside or the bowl and float were bloody green though. Might just slap another carb on, cheaper/takes less time.

Left the fuel tap on over night and it hasn't been leaking out the overflow So I'll be ruling that out, there is however the possibility of poo going through it and randomly holding the needle/seat open.

Will peel the carb off and go through it again, will attempt to get pics.

To be fair, I like the little 250s. I wouldnt be selling my Honda if I didnt need to. Great fun round town and stupid easy to ride. Reckon a GN would be the same. As long as you dont take them seriously they are epic fun.

They really are, the little simple ones are the best I reckon, just hop on 'em and tootle around, weigh nothing and wobble lots! Love it.

I do like the spring seat idea! Not ape hanger though

Pulled the carb back down, re-cleaned/checked it all, polished the slide. Still holds the revs occasionally when I blip it, but I'll have to throw a new air filter up it before I get too in to it.
