THese people believed it was all right to do what they did

perhaps they believed the children deserved it (for what ever sick reason)

I just see these outbursts of hatred as being so similar to the crime committed as to be near no difference.

Condemnation I can understand but threats of abuse, violence, and hatred put you on the same level.

Bondagebunny your opinons are welcomed . Do you have Kids ?? If so your'd be happy to let someone that hurt them just go to Jail .? If you where given 10min with them on your own you would not do anything or get someone to do it for you . I don't believe anyone would just sit back & do nothing . As I sit here watching my 2y old bounce around the lounge doing nothing to hurt anyone & think one of these types of People could hurm him just turns my stomach . They get what they deserve !!!

What these people did was inexcusable.
Your reasoning sounds a little like; this guy locked someone in a cage, so if we lock him in a cage for doing that, we are as bad as he is, if we are as bad, did he do any thing wrong?
I know I have over simplified, but you get the idea.
I believe the punishment should fit the crime, and as crime is as individual as those who commit it, maybe the punishment should be individualised as well?
So what would you do in this case?
I have made my views known, as we wouldn’t be able to replicate what has happened to these kids. it rounds down our options somewhat.
