Appeal to help man paralysed during arrest

    http://www.stuff.co.nz/national/6816...-during-arrest

So a couple of issues with this....

First of all, crap reporting 'appears to have a broken neck' either he does or he doesn't. report the facts for once.

Second, this idiot is driving whilst disqualified, gets pulled over and legs it from the police, falls whilst getting pushed back over a fence he must have already jumped and we are supposed to feel sorry for him?

It makes me laugh at how some people can go from being criminals to victims so fast.

So, if it is established the po po gave him a bit of the slipper or used excessive force, you're good with that?

    Just airing a contrary view.

He'll be compensated if that ends up being the outcome of the enquiry...
Does not deter from the fact that...he was driving whilst disqualified and runs like a little bitch when he gets pulled over from the police.
Two very dumb decisions that, he alone made. He is alive, and his era of judgement will stay with him forever.

This reminds me of the little shits in Aussie who stole a car and then got shot by the cops. They should at least be thankful that they live in a country with a good health care system, otherwise they'd be left on the streets to bleed to death in a more impoverished nation.

Of course we have to remember that we now live in a society where dealing with the consequences of your actions is discouraged... Doesn't matter what I did it was someone elses fault.

Yep, he actually made an earlier dumb decision (or decisions) that caused him to be disqualified in the first place so it looks like he's got a habit of doing these things.

looking at his pic, looks like he's travelled forward in time from an early 90's boy band!
Stupid move on his part, and while its unfortunate that he may now be a cripple, he's only got his floppy haired own ass to thank for it for running in the first place.
