    Friday nights

Just how I envisioned my Friday nights were to be when I was younger, Hanging out at the A&E with two insane kids and a bunch of people too stupid not to do themselves harm.

Anyone care to guess what the boy swallowed? Click image for larger version.

Coin, marble, wheel off some kind of toy? Previously had a long night/wait in the A&E dept with a 2 year old who was suspected of swallowing something (weird sound in his chest). Was getting really angry listening to the guy beside me bragging bout his broken nose being from a punch up. Just glad they were sending everyone through before him.

I hope that isn't a watch style battery! What ever it is it is not a good way to spend your Friday nights.

The top off a bottle? Luckily not had to take any of the girls to A&E for swallowing stuff... although spent a weekend in hozzy with 2 of them when they had a rather nasty sickness bug, poor little buggas.
    I didn't think!!! I experimented!!!

    Its a mighty Bean.

A plastic bean that has characters on them, and a ball bearing inside. The bearing is what is shown up in the xray.

For some reason the boy decided his mouth was an excellent place to hold it while he was in bed.

Must have given him a hell of a fright, cunning sod started yelling out for his brother.....

Funniest thing was when he went in for the xray he kept his mouth open as wide as he could so they could take a photo of his insides.

Then he was simply mind-blown that he had a skeleton inside him.

I previously took my other boy into hospital when he was running through the warehouse, tripped, and then headbutted a steel shelf strut.

It wasn't nice to witness and I rushed him into A&E.

When getting questioned by the nurse he decided to show just how fine he was by head butting the office wall.........

    Thats my boy.

A mighty bean Lucky he didn't choke eh they ain't exactly the smallest thing in the world to swallow. Could make an interesting sound on the pan when it comes out though.

Chip off the old block alright!

Our Labrador swallowed a 10mm galvanised nut a few years ago, cost us a couple of grand to get it removed. I felt like banging my head then.

Did you bolt to the hozzy? or, as it cost you a couple of grand did you take him to a builder?

Understood... hospitals ask too many questions and answering how your son had one of your nuts inside him could get awkward.
