What a surprise!
Most of them don't indicate because they are still on their mobile phones.
Most don't indicate early enough
They use their flashers to show what they are already doing![]()
but I notice (again) the "fix" isn't to have people learn to drive, it's to fit yet more "aids" to the vehicle
"The report suggests a solution to the problem - it labels them "Smart Turn Signals" - which use sensors and a computer to remind the driver if they fail to indicate"

There is no need to indicate anymore, if you are following the new rules you cant have an accident.
It was non-indicative research though.
You must have blinkers on if you don't think this research is indicating an upcoming turn in legislation. Right enough, if it's left to academics we'll all be covered head to toe in Electroluminescent wire.
WELLINGTON: Tag-o-rama
I followed a mufti cop in a maroon Commodore (easy enough to pick up the lights on the parcel shelf, even without taking note of all the aerials) from Paraparaumu to Petone today . Driver never once indicated lane changes (and there were a lot). coulda/woulda/shoulda *555ed her. (youngish, reasonably attractive blonde)
