    Lol yea mechanics just love that. Just tryin to get an idea of cost to fix it, worse case scenario kind of thing. Gives me leverage to push his price down and make it a worth while purchase.

    my question would be... WHY is a bike only 6 yrs old jumping out of gear? What K's has it done? If low.. I'd be very very suspecting of an abusive life being had by said machine... whats next in line to fail???

    if its a cassette type gearbox then you don't have to split cases or remove motor from frame.
    But if its not, then could be big $$

    done 40 odd k, Apparently a common problem. However my searching skills appear to be lacking as i haven't as yet found a fix or even whats causeing it for that matter.
