One of the great things about being self-employed.......

Mrs VV and I worked until about 1.00pm, then drove home, swapped the cage for the Virago, and headed south. Stopped at Waihola for lunch (the Black Swan Cafe, they do a great all-day breakfast), then back to Dunedin with a few detours along the way.

Back in town at 4.00ish, too late to tackle any work (what a shame)..... .

A few bikers around, most waved back.

Shit. It's Friday. And Taranaki lost. Is there no justice?

Nope, not then and not now either! I woke up this morning and it was a gorgeous day here in Levin. I had some work to do in Palmerston North so I took the bike. Very warm and pleasant riding, only saw one cop - sneaky bastard was parked half-way along a straight on the Opiki Road - but someone flashed to warn me!

Came home, doing a bit of work now but nothing too depressing. All in all, a damned good day so far! May even treat myself to a nice bottle of wine and something scrummy for dinner tonight! (Husband doesn't drink, so I'm not being greedy - he will get the nice dinner though!)
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA

I'm a student and my twelve hour a week time table leaves Wednesday and Friday free (unless I have a test).

This Dunnos boy is jealous of your Otago ramblings free from temporal bondage. At least the weather is OK up here in D'Auckland now...Roll on the weekend!

I think I suffer a more all-encompassing 'itis' than Fridayitis.

    Weekdayitis.

There are symptomatic peaks at either end of the 'working' week with more general malaise at other times. Curious absence of symptoms on the weekend...
