Ricoh to fund new seal at Taupo Motorsport Park

Unfortunate for individuals that were supported by Ricoh, but great news for the wider motorsport fraternaty.

Fantastic news.........fantastic Ricoh. But seriously...are Foolton Hogan the roading mafia going to give some sort of warranty on this repair? Best get some Italians in.....I mean....the Roman roads seem to last a lot better.

Fulton Hogan will be contracted to mill out all existing damaged and patched areas an re-seal them with a special formulation specifically developed for use on race tracks.

Does this mean the patches are being re-patched with a better patch? That's the way I read it. It doesn't say the whole track is being resealed.
Anything is better than the current surface though. Good on ya Ricoh.

So anyone seen what sort of jobs been done or is currently being done, their webites promoting a car test day on the 21st so if not completed must be close.
