The committed drinkers hang around threads like this and will encourage you to drink because basically they can't control their own drinking.

Happens to me all the time with fat people and food. A acquaintance in the weekend made a snide comment that I'd eaten the most she'd ever seen me eat.

Any idea what the GOD references been replaced by? I know a few AA members but they aren't that 'out' about it and reading that lot got me wondering if that's part of the problem...doesn't strike a chord with me so wonder how one particular friend relates to it.

No idea sorry... I doubt I'd function well within something like AA... I like to fail repeatedly and beat myself up about it...

Na healthy as...non smoker for just over two years and now weigh 87Kgs..97 eight weeks ago...doc was not happy with me being that heavy.
Cut way back on the drink..only ever have a drink when needs must.

Meh that's nothing...I lost 70kgs when Gordie finally got off my lap
