If my nose was running money, I'd blow it all on you...
Our eldest daughter is 24 on monday...so that makes 24 yrs of the official stamp, but we have been good friends for much longer than that.I must be a fantastic guy to have put up with her all these yrs.![]()
Congratulations.....does that mean it was difficult? You can feel proud, but I hope it was 23 yrs of fun.

Thanks for the post that is very cool.
Really great to hear, in this day and age, commitment or lack of it blah blah blah, just about like a fish swiming up stream.
18 yrs hereand looking fwd to many more.
Congrats dude... that's a milestone in itself - and it's awesome to hear someone talking about it as a milestone, and not a millstone...
That rocks.

Grats you two.. and here I thought I was doing well, coming up on 4 years of sin for me and my missus.

Experience......something you get just after you needed it
Well done, and congrats Big Dave. Claire and I have got the big 25 years coming up in November, and met three years before that.
The good thing about all these messages is that you realise that there are other people out there who are obviously as happy with things (marriage, bikes etc), as you are.
Cheers mate!

[thinking... thinking]Hmmmmmm....[/thinking]
The vifferbabe and I have been together since February, 1978, and married since September....[thinking...thinking..] rRrRrrrrRR[/thinking] 1982? I dunno. I think that's right, so that will be 23 years.
Not likely to be many more, as I think she's finding living with me and our weird offspring too hard, and I'm just finding the first bit (living) too hard.![]()
... and that's what I think.
Or summat.
Or maybe not...
Dunno really....![]()
Congrats Dave and Janet, if she hasn't knifed you by now, it probably isn't going to happen. As a matter of fact, Jennie and I celebrated 33 years of marraige on the same day as you. At the risk of Janet reading this and it costing you more money, we take turns to organise a secret "dirty weekend" away to celebrate. It was Jennie's turn this year and on Weds morning, we set off from Tokoroa heading north and I still didn't know where we were going. Arrive at Auckland airport and she presents the tickets for Norfolk Island - what a woman! Got back yesterday arvo after having had a wonderful time, thought the island was basically for senior citizens but it was great. The roads are best suited to trail bikes though!

Thank you everyone for the well wishes.
She bought me the 'billy bike' to complete my set of Franklin Mint Easy rider models. Beautiful thing.

Wow!!! These stats are pretty great. I'm very impressed - and my faith in the male is somewhat restored. Now if I could only find one that has similar goals, ambitions, is hugely motivated, doesn't particularly want a family, likes bikes, appreciates science, loves good food and wine, looks like Johnny Depp and has a trust fund...I'd be set.
Seriously though, I'm really pleased for all those of you who are happy in your relationships (defined whichever way) and give a small frown of consternation and worry for those who aren't.
In all cases, take care of yourselves, and those around you.
