    Way cool story

That's really inspiring. I hope I am never in that situation, but if I am I hope I have the guts and determination to do something about it.

That is just amazing. It's incredible what a little belief - either internal or external - can do.

There has been a couple of times in my life when members of the medical community have told me things like, you will never walk properly again, or, you will never have full use of that hand again. Well they were wrong, I never gave up.

I had tears in my eyes watching his. Motivational stories and overcoming adversity do that to me. Geez, only half way through and he was way more flexible than me and I don't have TOO much wrong with me except being 50 and spent years carrying heavy weights, now coming back to haunt me. Maybe I should look at Yoga too.

Yoga + a healthy mental attitude to what you want to achieve. If you want to check out what the human body can do, google up the miracle man, that dude crashed a plane and got really messed up, but he never gave up.

    Bastards...my face is leaking....thanks!

    The mind is simply amazing!...

I was told by doc's that if didn't under go intense chemotherapy for my cancer of the spine-(It was racing up my spine to get to my heart and other main organs)...It was going to kill me (And chemo only gave me a 30% chance tops...and could actually result in an earlier death due to the doses I needed)
Screw that!...I refused the Chemo and opted for Radiotherapy (Against all the doc's & my family's pleas)
It certainly wasn't nice, and it nearly broke me physically & mentally...But after a year and a bit of hell and the strongest levels of radiotherapy allowed....I prove them all wrong!...and beat that evil soul crushing disease

To this day I believe it was the mental fight to survive and endure that won that battle

    ...NEVER EVER GIVE UP!...FIGHT!!

When Life thows me a curve
    ...I lean into it!

You must spread, blah blah. Awesome dude, good for you. Problems do not get solved by focusing on the problem, you gotta focus on the solution or desired outcome. Same as riding a bike, look where you want to go, not where you dont want to go.

What made you opt for Radiotherapy?
