    Rebuild time

Only about five years after I started talking about it, the time to rebuild the Lammy has arrived. I've never been particularly keen on the period yellow ochre colour and now I've seen the last of baby-poo for a few years, it's time to remove any reminders of it from my life.

The plan at the moment is to go British Racing Green, but a blood Alfa red is still a possibility. There are some bodywork mods in the pipeline and I should also get around to porting the engine case, as I don't want to fall foul of Dave Lobster's golden rule (see sig).

So, stage 1 is all but complete, the scoot is stripped except for a few stubbornly rusted bolts (which will need to be croppered) and the forks, which are waiting for a new anti-dive front end so the neccessary welding can be lined up correctly.

I'll let you know, I'm sure there'll be vacancies for assistants to drink beer and laugh while I skin my knuckles and chase dropped nuts across the floor!
