Probably have a crack at it over the 19th to 22nd October myself (with J in tow on her DR or on back of the 'Alp), that Monday is a public holiday.

Are we still good to enter? I know it is quite late in the piece but I think it would be a good first event for me to enter. Thats right FIRST EVENT

It would be a great first event. You are probably too late to ask here at KB, but if you ask the same question at http://southernrider.co.nz/ocportal/ you may get a satisfactory answer.
    Time to ride

Well that's done and dusted for another year.

A slightly damp ride to Hokitika on Thursday with an extra little fun ride to stay the night at a bach at Lake Kaniere.

Bright and sunny Friday morning and only a couple of small patches of rain on the way to Queenstown to catch up with friends and bludge a bed in their 5 star apartment.

Another lovely day on Saturday to cruise down to Cromwell for a quick social stop, then on to Lake Tekapo and pitch the tent by a lake and a few quiet drinks under the stars.

Yet another great day Sunday to wander up the inland road and pick up the last of the answers, then onwards to home for a rest.

    Looking forward to 2013 already.....

A 820km ride today getting all the 'eastern' tags. The views from the top of Mt John are great and the first bike ride over the Crown Range was awesome! Just the West Coast ones to get now.

All the questions bar one, cause I read the paper and did not actually read it well enough... time meant I was not going to do the round trip to get back to it. I know where it is now, and am mighty curious to find out what on earth it was for.

done & dusted, great trip from Cromwell to Franz dry & .... woke up to drizzle in Franz on Sat.... 10mins up the road dry & just to remind us we were on the Coast started to rain just before Jacksons so stop for a pie on tho Arthurs & 5mins out dry

got to Sheffield turned left instead of right & shot up to Lake Sumner rd & stayed the night with our son.... then back out to where we left off, detoured to the Chequered Flag for lunch.... got a bit of rain just before Fairlie through to Burks... then just before the summit in the Lindis to about 2/3 through other than that dry roads & a great ride

a big cheers to Nighthawk for getting this sorted

I need to get my answer sheet in but just as well I've left it late, seems not everybody got all the answers....
