ha ha - catching up with norfie friends who will have crossed over on an earlier ferry. 1996 silver tiger, albeit now with blue front and side fairings, blue with a grey stripe front mudguard and rear tail piece and a wide blue stripe on an otherwise grey tank with black tiger markings... One of a kind now!

Well we made it.
Munted the gear box on the way home. I haven't pulled it out yet, there is a big split in the right hand side of the casing. There was one wee bit of metal about half a gear tooth in the oil thats was all. Given what ever broke was strong enough to split the casings I am not expecting there to be many salvageable parts inside it.
I have just ordered a new box. $500 + freight.

Got home now, worst part was this morning travelling in heavy fog, couldn't see a damn thing! Enjoyed my first BM...
