Dont the Fire service have a sense of humour?

And dont you need a licence to fly one of those things? How many demerit points is it for parking in a tree?

It's not so much flying as a controlled decent, or in Steve case a controlled crash.
Would when he said "I ment to do that" or "that bird just pulled a U-turn in front of me"

    Thumbs up

Haha this was a small incident. Only wrecked a grand worth of gear this time. No biggie. One low-level stall/spin/impact due severe turbulence was good! Six of nine lives gone with that one!

What do YOU do thats exciting and gets you front page full-spreads on four newspapers? Fuck all? Yeah I figured.

You KB keyboard warriors need better work stories instead of sniffing poo steam.

    Thanks for the love!

"What Steve said pretty much summed it up."
"I did axactly as you said and it worked...!!"
    "Wow, Great advise there DB."

I do wonder, should you ever choose to take up hang gliding, if you would be able to go your entire flying career without incident... given your track record thus far on two wheels, it seems unlikely.

You may be surprised. Because I doubt very much you know sweet fa about my 'track record'. Besides...racing is about pushing boundries and taking risks. Hang gliding and paragliding ain't.

Only what you've told us; presumably your recollections are truthful and accurate. I assume so, given that you've chosen your nick to reflect them. Given that, which I'm taking as fact as you have little chance of lying about it with a number of your ex fellow competitors on here, I do not think I would be surprised at all if you put a hang glider into a tree. Perhaps your temperament might not be suited to flying though...

I reckon I could pretty much remember near every single road race I've ver done and the result of it. And my ratio of finishing/crashing is actually very much in favour of finishing. A fair few of the biffs I've had were due to being skittled too. The whole CFWB name was explained a few times here. Won't bore anyone with it again. And temperament? No worries at all. I'd only have to be dealing with myself and the situations at hand. Big difference between having to deal with fucking retards that make your blood boil.
