Ok,wof book says:
retrofitted lamps must be symetrically mounted as far towards each side of the motorcycle as practacable, and at a height not exceding 1.5 meters, or if this is impracticable due to bodywork, not more than 2.1 meters.
I don't know anyone that has ever been failed on led combo tailights though....even though it looks like they don't fit the requirements....

I had a mate fail his re-vin check cos the lights were too close together, iirc they were about the width of the number plate.
My bike has two sets of indicators, one about 400mm apart, one 150mm, never had a comment on the closeness (or duplicity) of them from the wof guys.

There are angles specified that both indicators must be able to be seen (from the front or rear) ... to my knowledge, nothing specified as to distance apart. Check with your usual tester ... it will be his decision in the end.

I took my Skootah in for a WOF on Saturday. The LH mirro mount was broken so I put on some cheap bar end mirrors.....he didn't like them.....or the loud as air horn the PO had fitted.....'too loud'.... both of them said the front wheel bearings were " a bit rough" .....and he asked me my opinion.....
yeah...bit rough...." next time ....ay"
Should be fun taking the Thruxton down with its fender eliminator kit and LED indicators......![]()
Stack them vertically and it shouldn't be a problem.
