    hXc put up this thread.
Following in that vein is this little gem...

CHICKEN RECIPE TO DIE FOR! You must try this one.

Here is a chicken recipe that also includes the use of popcorn as a stuffing.
When I found this, I thought it was perfect for people like me, who
are just never sure how to tell when poultry is thoroughly cooked, but
    not dried out.
    Give it a try.

    ROAST CHICKEN
    2-3 kg. roasting chicken
    1oz. melted butter
    5oz. breadcrumbs
    1 cup uncooked popcorn
    Salt/Pepper to taste
    ______________________________

Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Brush chicken well with melted butter,
    salt, and pepper.
Combine breadcrumbs and popcorn and fill cavity.
Place in baking pan with the neck end towards the back of the oven.
Listen for the popping sounds of the popcorn.
When the chicken's arse blows the oven door open and the chicken flies
across the room, it is done.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
