Can you jack up use of the track when it isn't being used?

Got my work cut out there mate. She's not that keen, so I am working on a strategy involving the with-holding of her favorite things.

Umm, doesn't she feed you and buy the booze? Good luck finding something to bribe her.

No, we're not allowed to use the track other than on our weekends There's a thread here somewhere about why.

Another option, not sure whether Edgecumbe is closer, is to hire the Taumarunui track for a weekend. Roller blades optional.

Just to keep it out there, dates so far

Mt Wellington November 24 and 25

    Tokoroa December 15 and 16

    Taumarunui January 5 and 6

Back track manfeild February 16 (one day meet Saturday)

More to come when dates are finalized. Start planning people, I can't think of anyone who has made the effort to travel who has regretted it.

Just filling in ones calendar for the better half's interest (so she can start nagging I spose); but has there been any word/talk about the GP2013?

Only talk I've heard is about the fact we'd need a $200 license instead of our $100 and it puts quite a lot of us off.

Umm you should still be in honeymoon stage, so enough of slagging off the mrs, thank you Sheesh, you have a lot to learn lol.

does this mean you're coming to some of our North Island meets then? Manfeild must be a given.

    1. Yea the $200 isn't ideal but..... If we actually start getting some MNZ support to grow things more and provide the same level of support as other classes (lol unlikely) then it might be worth it in the long term (not holding breath).
    2. The honeymoon stage run out 10 years ago... but I've still not learnt my lessons ; I'm quite slow as you know.
    3. hell yea I'm trying, bike is just about ready to go again. Nov (conference) is out but the rest is looking good currently; just have to sort out the other GPR boys.
(and and I've found a supply of "white port" to add to the mix )

Oooh er missus. I heard that because it was a "club" championship and not an MNZ championship the club licence was all goods. Tell me I'm not deluded. I've just booked a stay at my mates for the two hour.

The MNZ newsletter thingy that turned up the other day listed the GP as one of the NZ championship events that requires the full license, the NI series that Steve runs is a PAC club series so the cheap license works.

Given your lengthy......... experience at Mt Welly, movie star looks and superior skills, I'd be silly to say yes. What are you offering?
