I live near the top of Archers Road, Glenfield. Its a horrible place to stop in the middle of the road and pull into my driveway because its a blind corner about 50 to 100 meters behind. Ive just come back from the supermarket this morning and ive stopped waiting to turn into my driveway. Its on my right. A quick check of my mirrors and this frikkin twat is speeding round the corner behind me almost over the wrong side of the road! Im thinking shit, stay where you are because if I pull in im directly in his path. I stay exactly where I am because I figure its easier for him to swerve around me if im still than if Im moving. He finally sees me stopped with my indicator on and swerves back onto his side of the road and goes by me on my left. I blast the horn and swear blue bloody murder at him and he just stares at me blanky.

I tell ya what. Its taken all my fucking will power not to chase the cunt down and give him a piece of my mind.
This is just happened and im still shaking with rage right now.

Really not alot you can do in that situation. Just have a spew about it on here. Thanks

I lived in a place that was just beyond the crest of a hill,made stopping to turn in my own drive during busy traffic rather dangerous.
I use to ride past,pull over down the road a bit an do a U turn then pull in my drive nice an safe.
Nobody else is going to look out for you so you have to do it for your self.

You should have seen the scary moment on the NW this morning. Guy on one of those weird 3-wheeled bikes (2 @ the front) (no, NOT a spyder) who was locked up at a 45 degree angle to direction of travel, with smoke pouring off the back tyre attempting to avoid running into the rear left of a car.
Hi viz was no use what so ever but heart pills might have been useful afterwards as I bet the ticker was going quickly!

Lived just around the corner from the OP, in Sunnynook Road, until 2003. It's just like Archers Road, and any other non-straight road with downhill bends.

Got the Council to sit a speed trailer in Sunnynook Road once, then sat down the road with a radar and nailed the knobs who were blasting past my driveway trying to max the speed trailer.
