Mmm kinda agree with Frosty. The schools/clubs I know have lost interest in sausage sizzles. Not sure why but I think the main reason was the work involved and the difficulty of finding parents willing to put themselves out. Plus there's always the risk of some member of the public getting sick and complaining.
We were all rostered to take a turn and we found out today that this is the first weekend (during the season) in 10 years that they haven't been able to fund raise their way... but that's alright, 1 guy is making a living v's several schools having to find some funding elsewhere. We, the parents, are all willing to take part. We, the parents, haven't poisoned anyone with any of our food in the 20+ years we've been cooking. We, the parents, don't have a license and therefore can't be trusted to follow the decade old tradition of worrying that we're going to poison someone![]()
I didn't think!!! I experimented!!!
