    GN250 Engine Swap

Hi all, I'm wanting to replace my old engine as the pistons ****ed along with the cylinder and upper engine. I have a 1983 GN250 and was wondering if a 2007 engine will bolt straight into it? Are all GN engines the same? It'll be a diy job and I don't have the tools to make any adjustments to the frame and I'm really not keen on paying labour for this job after the engine expenses. Any help would be much appreciated

Take photos of the mounts on the frame, measure them

Then do the same for both, and compare.

And ask a Suzuki dealer, they might know something.
