My wee black and tan terrier will kill for fun. He has proven himself to be a great we rabbiter. He won't play with his prey the way a cat will, he just grabs them around the chest and crushes them with one bite. Then he brings it to me and its off after the next one.

I usually go to the Alexandra Easter Bunny Hunt. The dog usually gets more bunnies than many of the shooters just on his own. He also puts out a lot out the back of the bushes that I can tip over.

Ah terriers, ya got love em. My wee Bull Terrier is the same with possums & Labradors given the chance, she is currently trying to figure out how to get the better of a hedgehog that has recently turned up in the garden. 3 - 0 to Missus Tiggeywinkle so far.

My old bull-mastiff used to attack other dogs that curled a lip or barked at him to an inch of its life.

My wee pooch is not that cantankerous, for some reason old Labs are often dominant, if they have a crack she head butts them & puts them on there ass. Possums are food in her eyes or nose or ears, whatever she uses to find them. She happily lives with a cat & next doors kitten is still fine after wandering into the garden, the previous one wandered into the road, the ultimate end to peeing on stuff.....

We got our cat just a fortnight ago from the SPCA - 3y.o., she was speyed and microchipped, house trained and is a delight; doesn't stray far from us (although early days yet). 'Tis not just cats from a breeder that come with all the trimmings...
In fact all our pets (antisocial rabbit included) came from the SPCA as we'd rather give waifs a home than pay big money to someone who breeds animals for income.

Yeah, our old boy hated cats that didn't belong on our property. Even in his old age he could tell from a distance which ones were our cats and which ones were interlopers. At night the unpleasant caterwauling would be met by us letting out ole "pussy patrol" - after him haring out nutting off and sending them scattering in all directions it was back to peace and quiet (until the next night).
